SEN/D and Inclusion

At Lyde Green we embrace the fact that every child is different and believe that fair means that everyone gets what they need , not that everyone gets the same.

Lyde Green Primary - an inclusive community

Lyde Green Primary School is an inclusive community. We aim to help all children succeed and to remove any barriers to learning.

We are committed to providing high quality education to every child. We believe that all children, including those identified as having special educational needs or a disability (SEND), have a common entitlement to an accessible , broad and balanced academic and social curriculum  and that  they should be fully included in all aspects of school life.

All children who apply to Lyde Green are admitted without prejudice and in accordance with LA admissions for providing placements for children with SEND.

If any parent/carer, or any other person involved directly with the school require a specific service or information (in any format), then we will endeavour to meet these needs, wherever possible.

If you need support in translation of documents then please notify the school and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Printed copies of all documents are available from the school office on request.
